 Join the #EUHPP Live webinar on the European Cancer Inequalities Registry (ECIR), to celebrate the launch of the second edition of the EU Analytical Cancer Report taking place on 6 February 2026 from 09:30 to 11:00.

As one of the 10 flagships of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, the European Cancer Inequalities Registry process aims to identify trends, disparities and inequalities between Member States and regions. It helps Member States to identify respective gaps and shortcomings in cancer care and prevention, thus guiding targeted investments and interventions at EU, national and regional level. The Registry process was launched in February 2022 with its first milestone, the ECIR Data Tool, which allows users to explore cancer inequality indicators in an interactive way. The Registry completed its first reporting cycle with the publications of the first EU analytical report, the “Beating Cancer Inequalities in the EU” report in February 2024.

This second edition of the EU Analytical Report focuses on “Delivering High Value Cancer Care” and complements the Country Cancer Profiles 2025, thereby completing the second reporting cycle of ECIR. The objective of this meeting is to present the key findings form the new EU Analytical Cancer Report on delivering high value cancer care. The report provides fresh data and insights on timely access to care, providing efficient and evidence-based care, and patient-centered approaches.
