World Health Summit 2026
October 11 - October 13

The annual World Health Summit brings together global health stakeholders from all sectors and regions to find solutions for the most pressing health challenges. It will take place on 11–13 October 2026 in Berlin.
2026 World Health Summit – From Crisis to Resilience: Innovating for Health
Health around the world is being challenged by compounding crises, including conflict, geopolitical tensions, economic strain, the climate crisis, and social injustice. These converging pressures are testing systems, widening inequities, and exposing vulnerabilities that cannot be addressed through reactive, short-term responses. Addressing the health challenges of our time requires more than crisis response; it requires innovation. The question is how we innovate, and whether innovation is implemented well and reaches everyone, in every setting. Major breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, new medicines, and bioscience are already reshaping health worldwide, but innovating for health goes far beyond technological advances. It includes innovation in financing, governance, leadership, regulation, partnerships, service delivery, supply chains, and workforce capacity. It also means learning and adapting faster, scaling what works responsibly, and aligning efforts across sectors to deliver equitable impact at scale.
Innovation can build resilience: the ability of systems and societies to anticipate, absorb, adapt to, and transform in response to shocks. Building resilience means safeguarding essential services, strengthening preparedness, sustaining trust, and enabling systems to function under rapidly changing realities.
With “From Crisis to Resilience: Innovating for Health,” the World Health Summit 2026 will focus on how to turn innovation into more equitable, continuous, and future-ready systems that strengthen health and well-being over the long term.
