Participants will have the opportunity to present and discuss their PhD proposals in a constructive, peer-supported environment and receive feedback from both fellow doctoral candidates and senior faculty members.<\/p>\n<p>Combining peer feedback, faculty mentoring, and dialogue with healthcare management practitioners, the Lab provides a unique opportunity to bridge academic research and real-world practice.<\/p>\n<p>The Lab aims to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide an arena for peer learning and network building.<\/li>\n<li>Foster critical discussion and methodological refinement of PhD projects.<\/li>\n<li>Offer individualised feedback from academic mentors and faculty.<\/li>\n<li>Raise strategic awareness about the publication process, from journal selection to reviewer engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Target group<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Doctoral students (any year) working on topics related to health management, human resources, public policy, or health systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Expected outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By the end of the PhD Lab, participants will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have refined their research design and theoretical framing.<\/li>\n<li>Have received actionable feedback from peers and senior scholars.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the publication process in top-tier academic journals.<\/li>\n<li>Have built an international network of doctoral peers and mentors.<\/li>\n<li>Have built connections with faculty mentors, peers, and healthcare organisations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-572a513 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"572a513\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p><strong>Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The fee for participating in the PhD Lab is \u20ac395 (+VAT).<\/li>\n<li>A combined package \u2013 including the PhD Lab and a ticket to the European Health Management Conference 2026 \u2013 is available for \u20ac645 (+VAT).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants are required to submit a brief motivation letter (maximum 1 page) and a short PhD proposal (maximum 5 pages).<\/p>\n<p>Please note that participation is limited to 20 PhD students.<\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates can apply here by 27 February 2026 at 17.00 CET.<br \/>\nThe outcome of the selection process will be communicated by 13 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Accepted applicants are asked to complete their registration \u2013 including payment of the corresponding fee \u2013 by 27 March 2026 at 17.00 CET. Any request for an extension to this timeline must be submitted and agreed upon in writing at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:conference@ehma.org\" rel=\"internal\">conference@ehma.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Registration fees are non-refundable. No-shows will not receive a refund.
