The action supported by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/health\/programme\/events\/adoption_workplan_2016_en\">Health programme<\/a>\u00a0of the European Union and is to establish an expert network on health workforce planning and forecasting.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this joint tender is to sustain cross-country cooperation and provide support to Member States to increase their knowledge, improve their tools and succeed in achieving a higher effectiveness in health workforce planning processes and policy. It builds on the results and work undertaken by the Joint Action on European Health Workforce Planning and Forecasting (EU JAHWF) and aims to further contribute to health workforce planning and forecasting agenda in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The joint tender will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>WP1 \u2013 organise expert networking to structure and exchange knowledge in the area of health workforce planning and forecasting and provide a forum to address health workforce challenges;<\/li>\n<li>WP2 \u2013 map national health workforce policies in EU-28;<\/li>\n<li>WP3 \u2013 transfer knowledge and good practices on health workforce through the organisation of European workshops;<\/li>\n<li>WP4 \u2013 provide tailor-made country specific support to some countries on the national implementation of health workforce planning;<\/li>\n<li>WP5 \u2013 publicise and document these actions on the web.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The joint tender was launched in September 2017 (Service Contract Number 2016 73 01) and is becoming an important driver for expertise and knowledge sharing on health workforce.<\/p>\n<p>The contract was awarded to the Joint Tenderer consisting of Semmelweis University, the University of Leuven (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven), the Italian Ministry of Health (Ministero della Salute), the Italian National Agency for Regional Health Services (AGENAS), and the Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Join the webinar on 11 July 2018 at 11.00h CEST for an introduction to SEPEN, a presentation of the online EU Health Policy Platform and a lively discussion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please find the agenda of the webinar and all technical access details\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/healthworkforce.eu\/news\/sepen-expert-network-launch-webinar-11-july-11-00h\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you are interested in Health Workforce, do not miss\u00a0the launch webinar of the SEPEN expert network.
