EHMA is\u00a0building a strong community of interest that is\u00a0<strong>aware of the lessons to be learnt by the pandemic<\/strong>\u00a0in health management and research, procurement, digitalisation and much more.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This month, we talked about\u00a0<strong>innovative frameworks<\/strong>\u00a0such as the MULTI-ACT project&#8217;s governance model aimed at tackling\u00a0challenges such as COVID-19 via strong and resilient\u00a0<strong>multi-stakeholder research initiatives<\/strong>. We have also delved deeper into innovation procurement to understand how to put into action a procurement process that is successful and innovative,\u00a0<strong>innovation being a necessity during crises<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Finally, we shared during the L-EAD 2020 Summer School the DISH\u00a0project&#8217;s framework aimed at\u00a0<strong>bridging the gap between digitalisation and digital skills<\/strong>\u00a0of healthcare professionals (HCPs). Digitalisation in fact, has been accelerated even further due to the pandemic and only a sustainable learning framework can help to empower\u00a0HCPs and health institutions to use the best\u00a0eHealth solutions available and benefit patients.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>The COVID-19 pandemic is a challenge, but also a teacher<\/strong>. The lesson to be learnt\u00a0is that the future will be faster, with more interdependency and thus challenges, more need for innovation and more potential opportunities.\u00a0<strong>We, as EHMA, are working hard<\/strong>\u00a0to make sure that the health sector and health managers are ready to bear the fruits of this challenging and yet potential-filled future.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>You can read more about all these topics\u00a0in the newsletter below.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The European Health Management Association Team<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>This editorial is part of our EHMA newsletter.
